Russian sex-trafficking ring `uncovered` in U.S.
A federal grand jury in U.S.`s Florida has indicted 12 foreigners suspected of being involved in a Russian sex-trafficking ring in Central Florida for more than a year, the Orlando Sentinel newspaper said.
Five out of the 12 people have been arrested, the newspaper said. Among them are Roman Caraiman and Alexandr Postica, who have been accused of recruiting women to work as sex workers at massage parlors around the United States, as well as Tatiana Belinschi, 25, Alina Priadko, 24, and Saida Babaeva, 28.
The indictment alleges that the 12 worked together in a commercial sex business in since at least July 2009, the paper said.
